In One Sentence...

Being a student athlete at Wellesley meant that my life was incredibly busy and demanding but my community and team were competitive, goofy, energetic and supportive.

The team balances hard work and goofyness better than any group of people I've ever been a part of. They all really invest in each other and the support systems are so strong. The team culture is amazing and as opposed to seeing the success of a teammate as a threat, it is viewed as the bar being raised. The general population at Wellesley can be really cut throat and unforgiving so having that kind of supportive group on campus is so important.

The academics and culture in general at Wellesley can be really intense. Learning how to balance that, manage your time, and have a social life while also in athletics is incredibly difficult at first.
